Sunday morning started brisk and sunny. So like mornings past we started off with a nice walk. This new routine of walking every morning has been nice for so many reasons.
We knew that today would be yet another big work day. The weather was supposed to be sunny and in the mid 70's so the plan was to finish the canvas work on the starboard side of the boat. Our first job was to move the boat to the other side so that we could work from the dock. Seeing that the wind had died down considerably it made this task so much easier. Once in place we got to work. This was all done by 7:30 a.m.
Along with a work day it was also laundry day for me. Sunday's are the best days to tackle the laundry around here as there are no hire boats going out this day so the staff isn't needing to use the machines.
I had stripped the sheets off our bunks to wash them. Oh how soon we forget the struggles of making a bed on a boat. It really should be an olympic event. The struggles of a short girl are real and then trying not to bang your head is yet another challenge. Alas though after a bit of a struggle, and maybe a quick 30 second nap, hey I was there anyway, the job was done!
After a very long work day exhaustion had set in once again. I made an omelet for dinner along with the fresh strawberries that Lori and sent home with us. Afterwards a little Netflix and then off to bed. I leave you with this cutie below.
This is her "Mom more cheese please" look.
